Amber Wigmore Alvarez, Ph.D., CIO of Highered EFMD Global Talent Network, welcomes you to a “Pitch Perfect” elevator pitch workshop December 11th, 2018.

As part of a continued Highered Master Class series, Pitch Perfect focuses on awareness and development of personal branding, body language, and executive presence.

During this interactive and practical session Prof. Wigmore Alvarez will provide key insight into how to craft an effective elevator pitch, a vital step toward advancing in your career by leveraging executive presence, linking networking with personal branding and body language, in order to create that lasting image that differentiates you from the rest of the candidates in a selection process or rather leads to upward mobility within your organization.

The live webinar takes place Tuesday December 11th at 11:00am Eastern Time/ 17:00 Central European Time, with the recording of the webinar available for all those who register. All EFMD talent are encouraged to sign into the platform to secure their spot. Students attending BI Norwegian Business school are invited to attend the live session (room B2-040).

 

About the Speaker

Considered one of the foremost references in Employability and the Future of Work on a global scale, Amber Wigmore Álvarez was recently appointed Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) of Highered EFMD Global Career Services.

Amber brings more than 8 years of experience from the world of global career services at top-ranked IE, where she was until most recently Executive Director of Talent & Careers, managing a team of more than 37 talent professionals who delivered services to 6,000 students and 65,000 alumni globally, increasing satisfaction on behalf of students, alumni and more than 4,000 corporate partners and organizations.

As a Doctor of Economics and Business Science, Amber’s research is focused on University Social Responsibility (USR) and business ethics. She holds an International MBA from IE, as well as a BA in Hispanic Studies and International Economics from Wheaton College (Norton, Massachusetts), where she received a largely feminist education, which has driven her on her mission to empower women in their careers.
